Toppers By The Sea Cuisine: Continental Seatings: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Pricing: $ to $$$ Location: This restaurant is located near La Vista and Flamingo. It can be reached by driving through the Pelican area and continuing on until you can make a right down a small hill. Making another right you will come to a guard gate which the guard will raise once you tell them where you are going. Park anywhere it's not restricted. Food: The food is varied with many selections to choose from. They feature their Prime Rib special on Thursdays. Experience: We enjoyed going to this outdoor restaurant that sits on the beach of the Caribbean Sea. Sitting at tables that line a wooden boardwalk, you can rest and view the pretty scenery while waiting for your food. The Prime Rib was very tender and the Pot Roast was fork tender and the sauce as good as any slow cooker could give you. This is not a high end restaurant but the food offered can be described as home cooking at it's finest. The staff was so very pleasant and they even came over and sang Happy Anniversary to us after our meal. A completely enjoyable experience and one that we will frequent each year as long as their quality survives the years. |
